We are pleased to invite submissions for the proceedings of the 23rd AsiaTEFL International Conference 2025, to be published in the Springer Proceedings in Humanities and Social Sciences series. The conference theme, “Care, Innovation, and Sustainability in English Language Teaching (ELT),” emphasizes a human-centered and socially impactful approach to the field. This volume will showcase innovative research, methodologies, and collaborative efforts that address the diverse needs of students and educators, while fostering inclusive, sustainable, and transformative practices in ELT. Focused on care, the papers emphasize empathy and support to create inclusive, effective learning environments. Innovation highlights groundbreaking methodologies and technologies that enhance teaching and engagement. Sustainability ensures that these practices yield long-term, positive impacts on communities and educational systems. Showcasing collaborative initiatives, this volume is a vital resource for transforming ELT through holistic, inclusive, and sustainable approaches." 

Submission Guidelines 

1. Eligibility: Submissions must be based on presentations accepted at the 23rd AsiaTEFL International Conference 2025. The authors must have registered for the conference before submitting their papers. 

2. Word Limit: Papers should be no more than 4,000 words, including references and abstracts. 

3. Abstract: Include an abstract of no more than 150 words and 4-6 keywords. 

4. Formatting: 

1. Use Microsoft Word for submissions. 

2. Follow the Springer Basic Referencing Style (available at: Springer Instructions for Authors). 

3. Ensure headings are clearly formatted and numbered using the decimal system. Do not skip heading levels. 

5. Anonymization: Submissions must be anonymized for the review process. 

6. Cover Page: Include the following information in a separate cover page: 

   1. 1. 1. Full names of all authors (spelled out as they would be cited). 

         2. Affiliations, email addresses, and ORCIDs of each author. 

         3. Highlight the corresponding author. 

         4. Final title of the manuscript.

Publication Details 

• No Article Processing Charges (APC): There are no fees for publication in the proceedings. 

• Open Access Option: Open Access publication is available with applicable fees as per Springer’s guidelines. For details, refer to: Springer Open Access Processing Guidelines. 

• AI Policy: Authors must adhere to Springer’s AI policy, available at: Springer AI Policy. 

• Scopus: We will apply for Scopus indexing once the volume is published by Springer.
