We had currently reserved rooms specifically for participants of AsiaTEFL2025. For participants who are hoping for a budget travel, you may consider staying with us in the EdUHK student dormitory. Presenters:
After February 28, 2025: Once your paper has been accepted, you will receive a notification email along with details for conference payment. In the payment form, you will have the option to indicate if you wish to stay in the EdUHK dormitory.
Mid April (tentative): After confirming your successful payment of the conference fee, we will send you an email with the accommodation booking details and the payment link for the accommodation fee.
General Participants:
After February 28, 2025: After you registered by filling this form as a general participant, you will receive a payment link to complete the conference participation fee.
Mid April (tentative): Once your conference payment has been successfully confirmed, we will send you an email with accommodation booking details and a payment link for the accommodation fee.
Upon arriving at EdUHK campus, please proceed to the check-in counter for accommodation. The venue of the counter is yet to be confirmed, please check the update on this website.
To collect the key for your room, present the confirmation email of the conference registration and your accommodation booking at the check-in counter. Our staff on duty will then provide you with the key to the dormitory.
Please return the key to the check-in counter when you leave EdUHK.
Two types of dormitory
Northcote Hall, Grantham Hall, Robert Black Hall
The Northcote Hall (NH), Grantham Hall (GH) and Robert Black Hall (RBH) provide shared twin and triple bedrooms with communal facilities including activity rooms, laundry rooms, bathrooms/toilets and pantries. Each study-bedroom is also equipped with computer ports and is covered by Wifi network.
Jockey Club Student Quarters
The Undergraduate Flats in Jockey Club Student Quarters (JCSQ) comprise 9-person or 12-person shared flats. Each flat includes single, shared twin and triple bedrooms . The Research Postgraduate Flats (RPg flats) in JCSQ are 6- or 8- person shared flats, Each flat includes single and shared twin bedrooms and charges of bed places vary with room types, all flats own sitting/dining areas, terrace, kitchen/laundry room and bathrooms. Each bedroom is provided with individual computer ports and is covered by Wifi network. A telephone is provided in the sitting/dining areas for use by students. Only students of the same gender may live in the same study-bedroom/flat.
While you are allowed to cook in the dormitory pantry. Please be aware that you must bring your own cooking utensils and cookware as the pantry does not supply any.
Please do not cook inside the room.

Each floor of the dormitory is designated for only one gender, ensuring separate accommodations for male and female residents.
Mixing of genders on a single floor is not permitted.
